I've been dealing with CanadaDocks for a couple of seasons now - I made an initial dock purchase and then added to it later. (Another reason to check them out)! The quality of the product is fantastic. We've had both standing and floating sections and both are very well constructed. Just as impressive is their staff and customer support. Our estimates were off for height the first season.. no problems though... CanadaDocks worked to get the correct legs to us in record time. The next season I messed up on the colour of the decking. Again, my mistake but they went above and beyond to help me out and get it corrected. Never an extra cost & never any hesitation. These guys, and their product, are absolutely fantastic.

Well designed and precision manufacturing makes this a great product. It does take considerable time to assemble especially first time, also due to use of large number of self tapping screws to hold the deck on.

Have been using on of their docks for the last 8 years (since 2012) and am impressed how well it has held up during that time.

Not only is this a great product with little to no maintenance required the support they provide is outstanding.  Recently had an issue and spoke with Cindy.  Canada Docks stands by their product and design and helped out more than I expected.

It always good to get a good quality product but to also have a great team there to provide great advice and support is just as important.

I purchased a dock system from Canada Docks back in 2012 for my island cottage on Georgian Bay. It was easy to set up and the strong light frames made it easy to remove for the winter. My daughter loves the Thruflow decking that allows kids to run and play without risk of slivers or slipping. I also appreciated how it doesn't retain water after rain and always looks new without any maintenance.
I liked the dock so much that I'm back buying a similar dock setup from Canada Docks for my new house in Muskoka. I can't wait to get it set up and enjoy the summer!
Cindy is a pleasure to deal with and is very responsive.
Highly recommend this dock and company and can't understand why people ever go with pressure treated wood docks.

I had bought my 16’ floating approximately 5 years ago from CanadaDocks. I did not have any experience in floating docks and the company staff, particularly Alex DeFrancesco, were always there to help me to set up my dock. Since then, as recently as this week, Alex was kind enough to help me to get a part for the same dock. I found the dock very solid,  especially in the choppy water. I found the company to be very reliable and always there to help its existing clients.

We've had our dock for 3 years now and are very pleased. The decking lets water and debris pass right through so it doesn't get dirty or slimy like wood did and spiders don't seem to like it either. Ducks don't sit on it and poop like they used to.  Nice to have a dock that I don't have to worry about rotting or ants getting into.

The dock package I ordered arrived nicely packaged and undamaged.  The dock was easy to assemble.  I did it by myself which is easily accomplished as long as you build it near the water where it will be placed.  Easy to follow instructions.  I would absolutely recommend this product to anybody looking for a do it yourself project.  I will be adding additional sections in the coming years.  Great quality and very stable in the water.

After a considerable amount of research and review of competitors’ products, we decided on Canada Docks for the purchase of our cottage dock, and we couldn’t be more pleased! We found the Canada Docks website extremely helpful in our initial planning process, especially their build-a-dock template.  We next visited their booth at a local spring cottage show, where we got to see their product up close, and we were very impressed, especially with their heavy-duty aluminum truss frame, and their “Thru-Flow” decking, both of which seemed superior to other dock systems we’d seen. We were also very pleased with the helpful advice provided by Cindy and the entire CanadaDocks Team. We ultimately decided on a floating dock system, and while it’s very sturdily constructed, it’s still lightweight enough for just two of us to haul in and out of the water every season (by running it along PVC tubing laid out on the ground). After two summers with our dock, we decided to purchase an additional 8x8’ section to use as a raft, which we anchored out from our main dock, and the two look great together. We are absolutely delighted with our CanadaDocks dock and raft, and highly recommend this company and their docking systems!

Every year since 2014 I have added sections to my dock and added accessories such as a ladder, kayak rack, lifts and lighting. Docks Canada has been my manufacturer of choice. Once a year I visit their booth at the Spring Cottage Show to see what’s new.  Dalrymple Dock and Leisure fill the orders in a timely manner and do quality installs. I highly recommend both companies for your dock and lift needs.

12 years later and still standing behind their product!  Canada Docks amazed us yet again.  We bought our dock system 12 years ago and have had an issue with the decking.  The decking became brittle and cracked in several places. We attributed it to wear and tear.  We saw Canada Docks at the boat show in January and asked them if there was anything we can do about it.  They told us the warrantee would cover it.  With in a week we had the new decking panels delivered to us for replacement.  And all of this at no charge to us.  I can only say one thing...."We made the right choice on this dock for sure!"  We are thrilled to get back to the cottage and replace the decking with brand new supplies.  Thanks again to Cindy and Thruflow Warranty Group.

Canada Docks continues to impress!!  Several years ago we purchased a new dock from them and we were thrilled with the product and service at that time. We have been enjoying our dock for the last few seasons and we’re looking to expand our system so my husband and I attended the scratch and dent sale. We were able to get a transition piece and some hardware for a great price but what impressed us the most was the consistent excellence in customer care. Staff are easy to deal with, friendly and professional. Excellent product and wonderful customer service. Don’t look anywhere else!!

We can not say enough great thinks about this dock. It looks fabulous, so well engineered, well built, super sturdy  and a great value for a long term investment. While putting it together and after it was in the water our contractor kept saying, "This dock is freak'n awesome!"

Folks paddle up to it and say- "WOW! What a  great dock! It's built like a tank."  "I have never seen anything like this"! Where did you get this dock?" (Of Course we tell them!)

Cindy and Alex were great to work with and the dock was well packed for shipping to the States.

We put the Access Platforms on each side so we can easily get into our kayaks and they are terrific!  They are coveted by all who see them!

The whole family  (4- 73 years)  fishes of it!  And even our Bernese Mountain dog loves hanging out on the dock because it is never too hot!

At least once a week while my husband an are enjoying  the sunset with a "docktail" one of says, " Boy,  I am so glad we got this dock! "

Purchased this dock after a winter of research and the product far exceeded my expectations.  Dock arrived well packaged and everything matched the quote exactly.  Instructions were excellent.  Put together seven sections and had it in the water in one weekend.  Fit and finish were fantastic and it looks amazing.  Highly recommend this product.

I bought 2 sections and planned to buy more every year until I had my dream dock. However, the hardware is so poor and corrodes so fast that I will have trouble justifying buying more. It seems that every spring i have to spend time and money fixing things that simply should not break. Dock is good - hardware is not up to par for a world class product.

I visited the Cottage Show and looked around because i had to replace my dock.  I met these wonderful people from Canada Docks,  I am very familiar with Aluminum construction and saw how excellent they were constructed and welded.  The system is EXCELLENT.  The people are great to deal with they explain everything.  Delivery was on time.  Because is was such a simple installation I chose to install it myself.  It was easy and quick.  Thanks Canada Docks for a great new dock this summer.  NOW, can you promise me good weather.......

Love the dock! My friend and I built it over the Canada Day long weekend and had a great time doing it. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We found it best to build the frame, then install the ThuFlow decking while it was in the water, just so it wasn't so heavy, but keep in mind this was an 8 x 16 section. The deck is very stable and all of my neighbours have commented on how nice it looks.

Cindy at Canada Docks was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I picked the dock up myself, but they helped me load it on my truck and trailer, and even tied it down for me.

I would definitely recommend Canada Docks to anyone in the market for a maintenance free dock.

I love this dock. Brilliant design. No problems with ice and cold weather.
Cindy with whom I spoke, was absolutely delightful and helpful. I could unload the delivery truck by myself. My son put it together for me. I did some. There are a lot of nuts and bolts. The instructions are clear with all parts well pictured and defined. I had to to call Cindy once after it had been shipped and she again was helpful. It was a perfect transaction. The dock is great. I couldn't be happier about it. The price is really a bargain when you know the cost  and problems of building any other kind of dock .  Ok... I hope this helps in making a decision. I had my Canada dock installed last spring, and was blown away by the level of manufacturing and quality on this dock! I have the floating model, and was worried it would be a bit tippy when you walk on it, but it's so solid. The cleats design is awesome too, they tuck away really nicely so you don't stub your toes on when when you're not paying attention 🙂 The dock was EXPENSIVE... but it's something that'll last a lifetime. Zero regrets!

My dock is in a deep, calm, and sheltered bay.
This was my first summer with the dock.
Overall the dock is good. Just a few comments.

Don't think its the best setup for large boats (30').

I spent quite a few hours working on the dock this summer.
Not due to lack of knowledge, or fault of my own.

Would recommend Canada Docks & installer for smaller & shorter applications.

***Will call & review my dock, with Canada Docks *again*,
once I have time.

I did tell Canada Docks of my issues, as they arose.
They offered solutions, that didn't meet my expectations.
End of the day, I'm working to make this dock meet my requirements***

We’ve had our docks now for about five years and they are as good now as the day we bought them. Exceptionally well engineered, they’re solid once in the water, but light enough to be moved by two people at the start & end of our cottage season. We’ve added a few pieces over the years to make our dock a bit bigger and recently helped friends get their own CanadaDock installed — knowing that these really should last a lifetime. Very friendly staff and easy to coordinate pickup if you plan things in advance (understanding that during the spring and summer demand can be high so plan accordingly). Comes well packaged in boxes but that can be easily assembled and deployed in an afternoon.

We got a floating dock with ramp installed in June 2019.
The design is great but the dock is not suited for the rough, stormy, conditions of Georgian Bay. It probably wouldn't be much different at Lakes Simcoe or Couchiching. The Dock is well made with an aesthetic appearance. But all chains are rusting badly and I added some galvanized ones from Canadian Tire and Home Depot that do not rust.
