When choosing a ladder or stair option, consider what your dock needs are. Will you be using it for boat or swimmer entry? Do you have young kids, pets, or family members with mobility limitations? Also consider the depth of your lake, type of lake bottom, and how much your water levels vary. All of these factors will contribute to the type of ladder or stairs that will suit you best. The most cost effective option is our CanadaDocks Aluminum Ladder. This durable ladder is ideal for sure-footed access to and from the water or boat. It secures well onto CanadaDocks dock kits, as well as onto seawalls. This versatile ladder is available in 3 or 4 step options so it suits various lake depths. We also offer a flip-up option, so you can take the ladder right out or the water and easily rest it on the lake when it is not in use. This strong ladder supports up to 400 lbs. This is a great option for swimmers coming in and out of the water, as well as for boaters.
This stunning ladder is comprised of 1.9” diameter marine grade stainless steel tubing and corrosion and UV protected plastic steps. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, this dock is incredible strong and durable. This ladder is available in 3, 4, or 5 step options. Each step is 12” apart. Just like the Aluminum Ladder, the Stainless Steel Ladder also has a flip up option. This is a great option for swimmers coming in and out of the water, as well as for boaters.
Made from the same quality structural materials as the Stainless Steel Ladder, this one features a 15 degree inclination, turning your ladder into an even easier to climb apparatus. Emulating the functionality of stairs, these extra 15 degrees makes a huge difference in the ease of climbing. Consider this option if you have younger or inexperienced swimmers. This ladder is available in 3, 4, or 5 steps.
One of our best options for easy access to the water is our Stairs. Made of stainless steel, these strong, durable stairs are perfect of children, dogs, and those with mobility limitations. They come in 4, 5, or 6 step options. The steps are wider than the ladder option, with 24.5” wide steps that are 8.5” deep. Just like the CanadaDock standing dock kits, our stairs have the same telescopic legs so you can secure your stairs right into the ground. The legs are adjustable up to 17”, which is great when accounting for uneven lake bottoms. You can also add extra safety precautions by adding in a handrail to the stairs.
Our newest ladder design is a unique design that fills with water when it is submergered and drains when it is flipped up. This option ensures that it is secure when in the water. Made of polyethylene, these steps have heavy duty steps and handles, ensuring that no one will slip. These are an excellent option for small children, people with mobility restrictions, and dogs of all sizes. The distance from the top of your dock to the bottom to the stairs is 55”.
